Tottenham Hotspur assistant coach Ryan Mason is remaining at the club after ending talks with Anderlecht over a managerial role.

Belgian side Anderlecht have identified Mason as one of their potential managers,
but the 33-year-old is happy working under Ange Postecoglou, which has seen him leave Anderlecht. It is widely agreed that now is not the right time to go into management.
Mason’s stay is good news for Spurs, with assistant coach Chris Davies joining Birmingham City in the summer. Mason
is one of the key members of Postecoglou’s backroom staff, which also includes Matt Wells and Mile Jedinak.
The move would have seen Mason become the second former Tottenham midfielder to manage in Belgium following Scott Parker’s ill-fated six-month spell at Club Brugge in 2023.
It would have also seen him reunited with former Spurs teammate Jan Vertonghen. Who join the club from ทางเข้า ufabet Benfica in 2022.
He began his coaching career with Spurs in 2018. After a serious head injury forced him to retire from football at the age of 26.
Mason has had a number of managerial roles throughout his time at Spurs, including two caretaker managerial stints.
He took over the first-team in 2021 after the departure of José Mourinho and was handed the reins again when Antonio Conte left.
