Manchester United defender Noussair Mazrawi has undergone minor surgery. After suffering palpitations and is hopeful he will be back in the coming weeks.

Mazrawi withdrew from the Morocco squad on Monday, with United stating it was a precautionary measure.

The 26-year-old was substituted at half-time in last weekend’s draw with Aston Villa. With Erik ten Hag saying the player would be assessed after the game but did not specify the extent of the injury.
