Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is set to become the first to score an away goal in the first six games of the season in Premier League history.

The Egyptian star has scored at least one goal per game in his first five away games of the season. This is the highest record set by former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry in the 2001/02 season.

The Reds are scheduled to visit West Ham in Sunday’s Premier League game. And if Salah scores, he will become the first player to score away from home in the first six games of the season.

Jürgen Klopp has led his side to a remarkable seven goals in a row away from home. Their first since Birmingham back in 1893.

Liverpool are currently third in the table behind Manchester City’s victory over Manchester United. But a win would narrow the gap with Chelsea, who can only draw with Burnley by one point.
