Former Manchester United star Paul Scholes doesn’t think Ruben Amorim needs to worry about his job right now, saying the Portuguese needs another three or four transfer windows to get the team in top shape. Amorim

failed to make much of an impact in his first transfer window in charge of the Red Devils, with Patrick Dorku the only new signing. United
‘s recent transfer window recruitment has been heavily criticised, with reports suggesting they are prepared to sell anyone for the right price in January.
United were only able to bring their best squad to San Sebastian for the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday, with injuries continuing to plague them.
However, they managed to secure a draw, with Joshua Zirkzee scoring the opener before Mikel Oyarzabal converted a penalty to level the scores for the home side. Scholes,
who is a pundit on คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย Sports, sympathised with Amorim early in his United tenure.
“I don’t think he’s got too much pressure on him at the moment,” Scholes said. “I think he’s OK. He’s got plenty of time now. He has needed to turn this club around and hasn’t signed the players he really wants.
“There are areas to improve and he needs another three or four transfer windows. It will take a long time to get this club back to where it needs to be.”
Co-host Karen Carney seemed to disagree, pointing to Amorim’s refusal to abandon the game plan he wants to play with the players he has inherited.
“I think he’s under pressure in the process, maybe because of his stubbornness with the system he wants,” she said.
“I can understand why he wouldn’t be, but he’s under immense pressure being the Manchester United manager.”
However, Scholes, who has seen United go through a number of managers since he retired, sees the prospect of starting again with a new manager as counter-productive.
“I think they’ve got to stick with him, otherwise how are they going to go any further?” the 50-year-old continued.
“He’s a good young manager, he’s got answers to questions well and there’s a lot going on behind the scenes which is not good for the team. We have to give him time and support him to take the team forward.”
