When will Bukayo Saka return from injury?

Saka underwent surgery on his hamstring injury shortly after the trip to Selhurst Park.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has admitted that the forward will sideline for at least two months as he recovers.

Speaking back in December, the Spaniard revealed: “He has had a procedure and everything went well, but unfortunately he will be out for many, many weeks.

“It will be more than two months. I don’t know exactly how much longer. It will depend on how the scar tissue starts to heal, the first week or so, and the mobility of that. It is very difficult to say.”

Commenting on Saka’s recovery, Arteta recently said:

“He’s been around a lot. It’s great to have him. There’s always a smile on his face. He’s going through a period that is unknown for him. Because he has never injure for such a long time.

“We have discussed the things we can do together and the things he can do to use the time in the right way to make him a better person, to make sure that he spends the time adequately with the opportunity that he has, so that when he comes back he is in the right place.”
